Meet the Doctors
Proudly Serving the Community for Over 20 years
James D. Schulte, DMD
Dr. Schulte graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2001. After working in various dental practices around town, including several years in public health dentistry, he now works full time at Peachtree Smiles Dentistry.
As one of the original group of general dentists to be certified for Invisalign™ treatment, “Dr. Jimmy” specializes in smile enhancement, offering bonding, veneers, whitening, gingivectomy, enameloplasty, and basic orthodontics to his patients.
He loves to talk college football and is constantly trying out the latest and greatest technologies, both in his practice and at home. Above all, he loves listening carefully to his patients to determine what treatment will best serve their needs, whether that means textbook ideal dentistry or the simplest, least costly service that will suit the patient for the time being.
Jazmyn E. Laing, DDS
With a passion for providing quality dental care and a compassionate spirit, Dr. Laing specializes in making every patient feel comfortable and understood. She was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with honors and a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Next, she attended Meharry Medical College, where she became a dean’s list scholar and developed her love for helping those in need through community service.
Dr. Laing completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency training at the Good Samaritan Health Center here in Atlanta, Georgia. During her residency, she gained advanced training on crowns and bridges, root canals, and oral surgery. She continues to stay up to date on the newest technologies through the latest continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Laing loves spending time outdoors, cooking, trying new restaurants around Atlanta, and spending time with her French bulldog, Tank.
Olivia Merandi, DDS
Dr. Merandi earned her undergraduate degree in 2001, majoring in Art & Design while attending the University of Notre Dame on a volleyball scholarship. She received her master’s degree in Education in 2003 and enjoyed many years as a visual arts educator and volleyball coach. After being a part of several service organizations over the years, Dr. Merandi realized she could combine her love of art and serving others as a healthcare provider in the wonderful field of dentistry. Designing and improving smiles became her passion. She graduated from The University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2018. Her non-traditional path to dentistry combines a personal approach to patient care, an artist’s attention to detail, and a passion for lifelong learning. Dr. Merandi enjoys all aspects of dentistry and educating patients to improve both their oral and overall systemic health.
Dr. Merandi is a native Texan who loves the outdoor lifestyle of Georgia (although she still roots for the Astros!). When not tending to smiles, she can most likely be found on the sidelines of one of her boys’ sporting events or working on a renovation project with her family.
